ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- Knight freshman Bobby Bai has been named the American Athletic Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week after leading his team to the 3M Augusta Invitational title, the league announced on Wednesday.
 
Bai paced the Knights during action at the 3M Augusta Invitational Apr. 1-2 in Augusta, Georgia. The rookie carded three rounds in the 60s (69-68-69) and finished with a 10-under 206, just one shot off the winning individual score. UCF won the event by four strokes (279-280-277: 836) and claimed the title in a field with six ranked teams, including four in the Top 20. The Knights also won the 3M Augusta championship in 2014.
