ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's tennis team returns to the USTA National Campus for two matches. The Knights host Furman on Thursday at noon and South Alabama on Friday at 12:30 p.m.

The Knights are coming off a road trip to Texas. UCF fell 5-2 to SMU and then was up 3-0 before our match against UT Arlington was cancelled. Cortney Cesarini and Monica Matias have a 10-1 record at No. 1 doubles, while Emilia Granstrom and Natalia Serrano sit at 11-1 at the No. 2 position. In singles, both Cesarini and Matias have 10-2 records at their respective spots.

Furman enters the match with a 10-5 record after defeating both North Florida and Grand Valley State on Monday. The Paladins defeated UNF, 5-2, and then swept the Lakers, 7-0. Furman leads the all-time series with the Knights, 3-2. During their meeting in 2014, UCF dropped a tough 4-3 decision.

South Alabama (10-4) is hosting USC Upstate on Wednesday before making the trip to Florida. In their last outing, the Jaguars defeated Southern Mississippi, 4-1, on March 4. UCF trails 5-1 in the all-time series with USA. In the last meeting, UCF fell in a tough 4-3 match during the 2013-2014 season.
