ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Freshman Rebeka Stolmar of the UCF women's tennis team qualified for the main draw of the ITF $15,000 Orlando event on Tuesday afternoon.
Stolmar, who was the third seed, defeated Eva Raszkiewicz, 6-1, 6-0 in the first round of qualifying. The next day she added a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Melissa Plambeck to advance to the final qualifying round. On Tuesday, she defeat Joelle Kissell, 6-4, 6-2, to make it to the main draw.
Stolmar faces Quinn Gleason in the first round of the main draw on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
