NEW YORK (UCFKnights.com) – UCF head coach Johnny Dawkins is among the 20 finalists for the 2017 Jim Phelan National Coach of the Year award, as announced on Monday.
In his first year at the helm, Coach Dawkins has led the Knights to a 24-11 overall record and one of the best seasons in program history. The UCF record for wins in a season during its Division I era is 25, set back in 2004-05.
