FAU Slomin Autism Invite Live Scoring

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF men's golf team extended its lead at the FAU Slomin Autism Invitational Saturday. The Knights carded the best team score of the day, a 3-over par 291. That pushed their lead over second-place Jacksonville State to 10 strokes heading into Sunday's third and final round, which will be played at PGA National on The Squire Course..

UCF was led by junior Manuel Elvira. The defending co-medalist in the event holds a one-stroke lead in the tournament. He was even par Saturday, after going 4-under Friday. Two other golfers are tied for second at -3. 

Two other Knights are in the top 10. Freshman Bobby Bai climbed 11 places up the leader board Saturday. He is now tied for sixth at +1 for the tournament after carding a 71 (-1) in the second round. Bai started and finished his round with birdies. In all, he tallied six birdies and five bogeys Saturday. Junior Juuso Kahlos is currently tied for ninth place and is +3 for the tournament.

Sophomore Kyler Tate made one of the biggest moves of the day. He carded a 1-over 73 Saturday and moved up the leader board 19 spots. He is now tied for 14th at 5-over. Senior Ryan Stovash is 8-over and tied for 32nd, rounding out the team competitors for UCF. George Williams, playing as an individual, is tied for 26th. He carded an even-par 72 in the second round and moved up 28 spots.
