ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF rowing team returns to action on Saturday, competing at the Longhorn Invitational on Walter E. Long Lake in Austin, Texas.

The two-session regatta features the host No. 8 Texas, No. 14 Duke, Oregon State, Iowa, Oklahoma, San Diego and the Knights.

UCF returns to action after hosting a regatta of its own on March 17. The Knights collected five wins, closing out the day with an open water victory in the Varsity Eight race. The V8 squad was named the American Athletic Conference Boat of the Week on Tuesday after posting its fastest time of the season, 6:31.1.

The full schedule for Saturday's regatta is listed below. The afternoon session will be determined based on the results of the morning racing. The NCAA events (V8, 2V8, V4) will be determined by the top two in each heat advancing to the grand final, with third and fourth moving to the petite final. The 2V4 event will be determined by the top boat and the next two fastest times of the two heats. The N8/3V8 (one heat each) will be determined by top time and the next fastest time between those two events.
