Watch Parties Purchase NIT Tickets NYC Pre-game Party

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – As the UCF men's basketball team prepares for its trip to New York City to play in the NIT Final Four, events are being planned in the Big Apple, on campus and around the country for fans to be a part of this historic moment in UCF Athletics. Below is a list of events planned for both the team and fans leading up to and during Tuesday's semifinal game vs. TCU.

  • On Monday afternoon, Head Coach Johnny Dawkins and select student-athletes will take part in the press luncheon for the four semifinalist teams. One-on-one media interviews and a formal program will be held from 12-2 p.m. 
  • The team will also attend the Student-Athletes and Coaches Welcome Dinner on Monday evening.
  • The official ChargeOn Pregame Party will be held at Carragher's Pub from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday. The event is free, but those interested need to register here.
  • Not traveling to the Big Apple? A watch party will be held in CFE Arena on Tuesday night. Doors will open for the free event at 8:30 p.m. with a DJ playing from 8:30-9 p.m. and popcorn and rally towels given to the first 250 students in attendance.

Tickets are available now for the NIT Final Four at Madison Square Garden. UCF will be the home team for both the semifinals on Tuesday and Thursday's Championship if the Knights advance. Fans are encouraged to sit behind the home bench (Section 4) on the 7th Avenue side.

The Knights earned a trip to the semifinals with wins over Colorado, Illinois State and Illinois. UCF (24-11) makes its first trip to the NIT Final Four in the program's second NIT appearance.
 
The game against TCU is scheduled to tip-off at 9 p.m. following the CSU Bakersfield-Georgia Tech semifinal. The game will air on ESPN with Bob Wischusen and Fran Fraschilla on the call. The national radio broadcast is on Westwood One, while fans can hear the Voice of the Knights Marc Daniels and Taylor Young on FM 96.9 The Game locally.
