ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After opening its spring slate with a scoreless draw vs. Orlando City B, UCF faces the USL professional team for a second time on Sunday. The kickoff at the UCF Soccer Complex is set for 11 a.m. Admission is free to the friendly match.
"This was an excellent chance for our team and our players to measure themselves against a top team," head coach Scott Calabrese said. "When you play against professionals, they can quickly show you what you need to improve upon. It was an important learning opportunity for us."
The Knights have an opportunity to show what they learned during the 10-day span between matches when they face OCB on Sunday
On Mar. 11, UCF continues it springs slate by facing the United States U-17 National Team in St. Petersburg. The Knights are back at the UCF Soccer Complex on March 24 to battle Eastern Florida State College.
