ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The No. 48 UCF men's tennis team heads to Fort Myers to take on Florida Gulf Coast University at the FGCU Tennis Complex on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
The Knights (9-5) are coming off a week break. In their last outing, the Black and Gold upended No. 29 South Alabama Jaguars, 6-1. Danny Kerznerman leads UCF with a 13-1 singles record. The junior is on a 10-match winning streak and has not dropped a match since January 22.
The Eagles (4-7) enter the matchup after dropping decisions to No. 29 South Alabama and George Washington. Mateo Ruiz leads the Blue and Green with a 6-3 dual match record. Oliver Landert and Felipe sit with a 4-3 doubles record.
UCF is undefeated in the all-time series, 5-0. In their last meeting, the Knights posted a 4-3 victory against FGCU at the UCF Tennis Complex.
