ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com ) – The UCF rowing team returns to action on Friday, hosting UConn, Jacksonville and Nova Southeastern on Lake Pickett.

The race day will begin with an 8:30 a.m. coxswain meeting. The Third Varsity Four will start the racing events at 10 a.m., followed by the Third Varsity Eight at 10:20 am. The Second Varsity Four boat is set for a 10:40 start, and the Varsity Four is slated for an 11 a.m. race. The Second Varsity Eight will follow at 11:20 a.m., and the Varsity Eight squad will close out the day with an 11:40 a.m. race.
 
The Knights return to action after a week of training. UCF opened the season at the 37th Annual Metro Cup on March 4. The Black and Gold collected five first-place finishes in six events to capture its seventh consecutive Robin Yeuell Trophy.  Following the race, UCF honored former head coach Dennis Kamrad with a boat dedication.
