The 14-3 Knights are hitting .310 as a team, with 27 doubles, seven triples, and 16 home runs. Freshman Rylan Thomas leads the Black and Gold in the long-ball category, after erupting at the plate against Central Michigan. He went 8-for-11 with four home runs and 12 RBIs against the Chippewas.
Right-hander Chris Williams will likely start for the Knights Tuesday. He has thrown 15.1 innings and given up 9 runs on 14 hits with 12 strikeouts. All told, the Knights staff has a combined 2.31 ERA with 162 strikeouts to just 47 walks.
UCF has drawn 68 walks, stolen 33-35 bases on the season and has a combined .398 on-base percentage. Bradley enters the matchup with a 4-8 record and an 8.12 combined ERA.
Next up, the Knights will host the Dolphins Friday night at the UCF Baseball Complex before heading to Jacksonville for two games to finish the series.
