ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 42 Tulane on
Monday afternoon at the Pepsi Center at City Park.
The Knights fell into a hole early in the match as they dropped the doubles point.
In singles, senior Cortney Cesarini made quick work of Sade Atkinson, boasting a 6-1, 6-1 victory on court three. Junior Monica Matias added the Knights last point with a 6-2, 6-1 win against Naz Karagoz on the top court.
The Knights take on Rhode Island in New Orleans, on Tuesday at 1 p.m., at the Pepsi Center at City Park.
