ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Knight Talk returns for its final Thursday night show tonight at 6 p.m. at CaddyShanks – UCF. Men's basketball head coach Johnny Dawkins will join Voice of the Knights Marc Daniels on the program to talk about the Knights' big road wins over ECU and Temple and preview Sunday's home game against No. 15 Cincinnati.
UCF Knight Talk is live every week and airs on FM 96.9 The Game. It's a great experience for fans to get an inside look at Knights Athletics live and in person at CaddyShanks. With a great atmosphere and interactive activities, fans are encouraged to stop by early and stay late to enjoy all that CaddyShanks has to offer.
On this week's show Coach Dawkins will break down the UCF men's basketball team's recent road victories. The Knights won 61-58 at East Carolina on Saturday and just defeated Temple 71-69 last night in Philadelphia. With the final regular season home game coming up on Sunday, Dawkins will preview what's in store for the big match-up against No. 15 Cincinnati.
UCF men's basketball's video coordinator Jaycob Ammerman will also stop by the show to talk about everything that goes into scouting the Knights' opponents and helping the team improve through film. Finally, Executive Associate AD Scott Carr will join Daniels to touch on everything going on with UCF Athletics in 2017.
The Knights (18-10, 9-7 AAC) are having their best season since joining the American Athletic Conference and aim to keep that going with just two regular season games left on the schedule. With two games remaining in the regular season, UCF will aim to win 20 games for the first time since the 2012-13 season.
