ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- UCF head men's golf coach Bryce Wallor has announced the Knights' lineup for this weekend's Sun Trust Gator Invitational, set to be played Saturday and Sunday in Gainesville.
Seven rounds of qualifying were held to determine the lineup for the first event of the spring. Three rounds were played at Isleworth, with four rounds taking place at North Shore. Following qualifying, Wallor has determined the Knights will send Manuel Elvira, Donnie Trosper, Ryan Stovash, Juuso Kahlos and Kyler Tate to the Gator Invite. Elvira held the low score of the qualifying rounds and was also exempt from qualifying after winning his last outing in the fall.
"We're really excited to get started," Wallor said of the spring portion of the schedule. "We've had three good weeks of practice. We always go (to the Gator Invitational) and it's tough competition. It's a great field again this year. Every team is probably inside that Top 80 mark and contending for regionals. So, it should be a strong event."

A. Tournament Exemption Previously Earned
1. Manuel Elvira – Exempt based on winning FGCU event, last event played in the Fall 2016
B. 3 Low Scores
2. Donnie Trosper – Finished 2nd in the qualifier with a seven-round score of 516 (+12).
3. Ryan Stovash – Finished 3rd in the qualifier with a seven-round score of 526 (+22).
4. Juuso Kahlos – Finished 4th in the qualifier with a seven-round score of 529 (+25).
