ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Knight Talk returns Thursday at 6 p.m. at CaddyShanks – UCF. Coach Johnny Dawkins and Coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, along with UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Daniel J. White, will join Voice of the Knights Marc Daniels.
Airing live on FM 96.9 The Game, Knight Talk gives fans an opportunity to get all the latest on UCF Athletics live and in person every week at CaddyShanks.
Coach Dawkins joins the show following a road trip to Houston. The men's team stands at 14-7 on the season, its best mark since joining the American Athletic Conference, and have a 5-4 mark in league action. The Knights have held opponents to a nation's best 35.1 field goal percentage on the season.
On the women's side, Coach Abe will preview her squad's upcoming contest at SMU. At 13-8, the Knights have earned their most wins since the 2012-13 season and are tied for sixth in The American standings with a 3-5 record. The Black and Gold lead the league and rank 14th nationally in steals, averaging 11.6 per contest.
Danny White joins the show following the announcement of the Rise and Conquer Initiative on Jan. 24. The comprehensive plan focuses on a number of areas, including facility enhancements, increasing resources and attracting even more fans to on-campus football games.
Knight Talk will also recap this year's football signing class. National signing day is Feb. 1.
