ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Knights fans will be able to tune into 96.9 The Game, 740AM and iHeart Radio to catch a record 32 baseball games in 2017. Marc Daniels, The voice of the Knights will be on the call and fans can download the free iHeart app to listen from anywhere.
"We are excited about airing 32 games on radio this season on our flagship station 96.9FM/740AM WYGM/The Game," Daniels said. "Our partnership with iHeart Media gives fans a chance to listen to UCF Baseball games all year long and no matter where they are."
The 2017 radio schedule features all 24 American Athletic Conference games as well as key matchups against Florida and Florida State and the season/home opener Feb. 17 against Siena. Fans can also catch every home game streaming live on UCFKnights.tv.
UCF head coach Greg Lovelady said that keeping fans involved is crucial to building the program, and the 2017 broadcast schedule aims to do just that.
"I'm really excited about this season and now for our great fans and UCF students to be able to hear us on the radio," Lovelady said. "It's a great way to keep everyone connected to the team when they can't make it out to the ballpark or when we are on the road."
