ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com)—The UCF women's tennis team improved to a 4-1 overall record after sweeping Bethune-Cookman on Sunday afternoon at the USTA National Campus.

"It was another good win today," head coach Bryan Koniecko said. "We definitely made some improvements from yesterday's match. It is always good to get another win and we are excited about it. We are going to prepare this week for another pair of matches this coming weekend."

Cortney Cesarini and Monica Matias started things off for the Knights with a 6-2 win on the top court. Natalia Serrano and Emilia Granstrom followed it up with a 6-4 victory on court two to clinch the doubles point.

The Wildcats forfeited the match on court six, which gave the Knights a 2-0 lead to start singles action. Cesarini added a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Karen Romero on court five. A 6-2, 6-0 win from Elizabeth Bagerbaseh at the number four position clinched the match for the Knights.
