ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com)--The UCF men's tennis team takes on Bethune-Cookman at the USTA National Campus on Sunday. The two teams will take the court at noon.
The match was originally scheduled for Jan. 22 but was postponed due to weather.
The Knights enter the matchup with a 3-1 overall record. In their last outing, the Black and Gold dropped a tight 4-3 decision to Auburn. Junior Korey Lovett holds a 4-0 record this season on the top court, while nationally ranked Mariano Porter and Harrison Richmond hold a 3-1 record at the No. 1 doubles position.
Bethune-Cookman opens its season on Sunday. The Wildcats have a new head coach, Val Vilucci, who joins the team after more than 20 years with the men's and women's tennis programs at the University of Rhode Island.
