ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – UCF and Pittsburgh have agreed to a home-and-home football series, beginning with the Knights hosting the Panthers on Sept. 29, 2018. UCF will then travel to Pittsburgh for a contest on Sept. 21, 2019.
UCF and Pittsburgh have met one time on the gridiron, with the Panthers taking a victory over the Knights back in 2006 at the Citrus Bowl. The Knights have played 10 teams currently comprising the ACC, with wins over Boston College, Louisville and NC State.
The Knights are coming off a 6-7 season capped by a berth in the AutoNation Cure Bowl. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh was 8-5 overall in 2016, played Northwestern in the Pinstripe Bowl and was the only team to beat the National Champion Clemson Tigers.
