ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF cheerleading and dance squads have been hard at work preparing for the UCA and UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships that start Saturday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The Knights take the floor in the cheerleading semifinals on Saturday at 7 p.m. inside the hp Field House with the top teams advancing to the finals that begin Sunday at 5:45 p.m. KnightMoves is set to take the stage for the hip hop semifinals at 7:36 p.m. inside the J Center. The hip hop finals are set to start at 3 p.m. Sunday.
UCF is coming off three-consecutive seasons where it finished runner-up to either Kentucky (2014, 2016) and Alabama (2015). The Knights have put together 11-consecutive, top-four finishes at the event and won the Division IA National Championship in both 2003 and 2007.
Coach Gooch in her 32nd season guiding the squad and has helped the Knights to a Top-10 result 21 times in the last 23 years.

Division IA College Cheerleading National Championships Semifinals
Semifinals begin at 4:30 p.m. with UCF scheduled to take the floor at 7 p.m. in the hp Field House.
Division IA Hip Hop Semifinals
Semifinals begin at 7 p.m. with UCF schedule to take the floor at 7:36 p.m. in the J Center.
Sunday, January 17th
Division IA College Cheerleading National Championship Finals
Teams will draw for the order of competition after the semifinals. UCF fans are encouraged to come and should plan to be in the HP Fieldhouse no later than 6 p.m. as it will be standing room only. The finals start at 6:30 p.m.
