ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Registration is now open for the Central Florida Fastpitch Winter Camps that will take place Jan. 21-22 at the UCF Softball Complex.
Five sessions, including specialty camps, will be available for both days. Separate registration is required to attend multiple clinics.
The Winter Camp for grades 7-12 will be held Jan. 21, while grades 3-7 will follow on Jan. 22.
Four new clinics will be offered in January. Held on both days, the slapping and bunting camps will focus on the fundamentals and mechanics of bunting and slap hitting. Each camp will cost $50.
A Coaches Clinic will be offered for high school coaches, travel ball coaches, and parents. Coaches are able to learn fundamentals and specific drills for pitching, hitting, catching, and defense from the UCF coaches and camp staff at all or any sessions they choose. The cost of the camp is $50.
A Junior Knights Camp will be held Jan. 22 for kindergarten through third grade. The camp is for beginners to learn the basic fundamentals of softball – offense, defense, and base running.
Pitching and catching clinics, along with hitting and defensive clinics will be offered during both days and will cost $100 each.
Central Florida Fastpitch Camps are open to any and all entrants.
