ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Inside UCF Basketball returns for another season next week, giving fans a chance to get an inside look at the Knights program. Hosted by Voice of the Knights Marc Daniels, Inside UCF Basketball will air each week at 1 a.m. Monday night (Tuesday morning) on FOX 35 (WOFL).
Airing immediately following FOX Orlando's late local news, Inside UCF Basketball will include interviews, highlights and behind-the-scenes features showcasing head coach Johnny Dawkins' men's basketball program.
The first episode is scheduled to air Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 1 a.m. with new episodes debuting each week through March 7. Inside UCF Basketball will also be available online on Tuesdays through UCFKnights.tv.
UCFKnights.tv is available on desktop and mobile devices, as well as Roku and AppleTV.
The UCF men's basketball team is having its best start to a season since 2010-11 with Dawkins leading the Knights to a 9-3 record during non-conference action. The Black and Gold are statistically one of the best defensive teams in the country, holding opponents to a nation's best 32.1 field goal percentage and allowing just 57.2 points per game (3rd in NCAA).
UCF gets American Athletic Conference play started on Wednesday. The Knights take on Tulane in New Orleans at 8 p.m. on the American Sports Network. The game will be picked up locally by FOX 35 on WRBW My65 in Orlando and will also be available on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.
