ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Following a pair of convincing home victories over Seattle and Stetson, the UCF men's basketball team will head back on the road this weekend to take on Massachusetts Saturday at 1 p.m.
Fans can listen to the game on FM 96.9 The Game and the iHeart Radio app with UCF Director of Broadcasting Marc Daniels on the call. A free live video stream will also be available via the Atlantic 10 Network.
The Knights are making their return trip of the home-and-home series with the Minutemen on Saturday, having hosted UMass in December of last season. UCF won its third straight game of the series with the Minutemen in 2015-16, taking a 67-63 victory at CFE Arena.
UCF leads the all-time series 3-1, as UMass won the first ever meeting between the two teams back in 1996 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Minutemen came out on top 92-70 in Providence, R.I.
This season both teams come into the weekend with early success holding identical 5-1 records. The Knights have won two in a row, including Wednesday's 81-45 victory over Stetson, while the Minutemen have won their last four after falling to Mississippi 90-88 in their second game of the season.
The Knights have been impressive defensively through the early part of the season, as they lead the nation with an opponents' field goal percentage of 30.1 and are second in all of NCAA Division I in holding opponents to just 53.3 points per game.
In addition to live video and audio, live stats will also be available for Saturday's contest via UMassAthletics.com. Fans can also always follow @UCF_MBB on Twitter and @UCF.MBB on Instagram to keep up with the Knights on the road.
