Interviews and Networking

Orlando, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The department of Student-Athlete Welfare and Development put on several events throughout the semester to help UCF's student-athletes better prepare themselves for a career after graduation. Two of the marquee events included mock interviews and Networking Knights.
 
Both events involved several community leaders and companies that came to campus to interact with the student-athletes.
 
The mock interviews placed student-athletes in a setting where they were interviewed by real employers. There were several companies in attendance and each student-athlete got a chance to learn what employers are looking for on resumes and the most professional way to present yourself when pursuing a job.

Networking Knights was another event that several companies in the central Florida area participated in. Student-athletes had the opportunity to share their resumes with companies and create contacts for their professional careers.
