ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – With significant downtime between the Black and Gold's last competition and the start of the spring portion of the 2016-17 campaign, several UCF women's golfers are planning to take part in amateur events during the holiday break.

Looking to stay sharp, five Knights will each compete in two different events in December and January. Those taking part include senior Ashley Holder, junior Kaeli Jones, sophomore Nicolette Donovan, freshman Maria Balcazar, and sophomore transfer Anna Hack who will join the Knights from Kentucky this spring.

Facing some of the top teams in the nation, UCF finished top-10 in each of its four fall tournaments and is currently ranked No. 20 heading into the spring.

Below is a list of scheduled event dates and Knights who will be participating in each tournament.

Dixie Amateur - December 19-22 - Woodlands Country Club - Tamarac, Fla.
