ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's basketball team will aim to win its third straight true road game on Thursday when the Knights travel to our nation's capital for a matchup with George Washington.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. as the Knights (7-2) and Colonials (7-4) battle it out.  There will be a live video stream on the A-10 Network via George Washington's website, in addition to audio coverage from UCF Director of Broadcasting Marc Daniels on FM 96.9 The Game and the iHeart Radio app.

The Knights, who were off to their best start since the 2010-11 season, are coming off of a home loss to Penn on Monday night.  UCF, at 7-2 in non-conference play, holds one of the top records in the American Athletic Conference early in the season, trailing only No. 23/25 Cincinnati (8-2).

Thursday marks just the second ever matchup between UCF and George Washington. The other was a 67-50 victory for the Colonials last season.  George Washington's Patricio Garino's 17 points led the Colonials to the win at CFE Arena in December of 2015, while Tank Efianayi led the Knights with 12 points off the bench in the loss.

GW has won its last two games with victories over Howard and Temple. The Colonials also defeated USF 68-67 and common non-conference opponent Maryland Eastern Shore 75-71 earlier this season. Tyler Cavanaugh leads the way this season, averaging 16.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.

Fan can also follow the action on Thursday with live stats via GWSports.com or on social media from @UCF_MBB on Twitter and @UCF.MBB on Instagram.
