A Knight Of Giving

Kissimmee, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - 'Tis the season for giving and that's exactly what the Knights did during the first ever "Knight of Giving." Fifty UCF student-athletes took underprivileged children in the Orange County School System shopping at Kohl's in Kissimmee to buy them gifts for the Christmas holiday.
 
Each child was provided with a certain amount of money to spend on gifts and were escorted by a student-athlete to help them decide what they wanted for the Christmas Holiday. Some children got toys, clothes and even gifts for their siblings and parents.
 
"It was just a blessing," senior track and field athlete Chelsea Gobourne said. "Any time you can give back to the community and help those that are in need, it's a great opportunity. Just seeing their smiles were great, and even their parent were excited to see their kids so happy."
