TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com)--The UCF women's tennis team recorded two wins at the Seminole All-Conference Showdown on Saturday.

In the Gold bracket, sophomore Natalia Serrano defeated Maddie Pothoff of Alabama, 5-7, 7-5, 6-4. Serrano will take on Oklahoma's Simran Sethi in the consolation final tomorrow.

Juniors Elizabeth Bagerbaseh and Emilia Granstrom both competed in the Spear bracket, which follows a round robin format. In the first round, Bagerbaseh fell to Alabama's Juliana Valero, 6-3, 6-0, while Granstrom was defeated 6-1, 6-2 by Malene Stripp. In the second round, Bagerbaseh defeated Michelle Linden 6-0, 6-7 (4), 6-3, but Granstrom was defeated by Daniela Schippers, 6-1, 6-1.

In the third round of the Spear draw, Bagerbaseh will face Wisconsin's Melissa Pick, while Granstrom will take on Linden.

Junior Monica Matias fell to FSU's Julia Mikuski, 6-3, 6-1 in the Garnet bracket. Matias will take on Alabama's Danielle Spielmann in a match for third place.

In the Seminole draw, senior Cortney Cesarini was defeated Smith Hinton of Alabama, 6-3, 6-1. In a match for third place, Cesarini faces Valero on Sunday.

In the Renegade/Osceola doubles bracket, Alabama's Hinton and Bagerbaseh teamed up for a second-place finish after dropping an 8-6 decision to Valero and Joanna Savva. Serrano and Granstrom finished fourth after falling to FSU's Nandini Das and Andrea Garcia 8-3.

Cesarini and Matias dropped an 8-7 (2) decision to Oklahoma's Sethi and Stripp for a fourth place finish in the Scott Speicher doubles draw.
