ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF Knights (6-4, 4-2) will play their final home game of the regular season when the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (7-3, 4-2) travel to Bright House Networks Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on Saturday. Below are some keys facts and statistics about this weekend's matchup:
 
Match Up Facts:

  • This is the 10th time these two squads will faceoff. The Golden Hurricane lead the series 6-3.
  • The two programs played against each other for a conference title three times when both were members of Conference USA.
  • The last victory UCF had against Tulsa was a dominating 31-7 victory in 2014.
  • UCF is currently enjoying the biggest turnaround in the nation from 2015 to 2016. The Knights have won six more games than last year.

Key Offensive and Defensive Statistics:

  • True freshman running back Jawon Hamilton is coming off the best game of his young career, carrying the ball 17 times for 81 yards and a touchdown in the fourth quarter against Cincinnati.
  • Redshirt sophomore receiver Tre'Quan Smith continues to lead all of the receivers on the squad, recording 32 catches for 554 yards and three touchdowns.
  • UCF's defense enters Saturday's content ranked 20th in the nation in scoring defense (20.6 points per game) and 30th in total defense (360.3 ypg).
  • Redshirt senior Errol Clarke is coming off a three sack performance against the Bearcats, which doubled his career total.
