ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Athletics was represented by 90 student-athletes from various sports at Pack to Attack in CFE Arena on Nov. 6. The event was a fundraiser benefiting Feeding Children Everywhere.
"This year the student-athletes as a whole did such a great job raising money and coming out to participate in Pack to Attack," SAAC President and softball senior Brittany Solis said. "I love seeing our committee heads and the rest of the SAAC members working hard. Willow Kalinen, the head of the Pack to Attack committee, did a great job rallying the student-athletes behind this wonderful cause, and I couldn't be more proud of seeing our student-athlete body come together as a whole. It was a fun sight to see our student-athletes enjoying themselves, while packing food for thousands of families. Being able to witness an event like this is something special and I can't wait to see how many student-athletes get involved in years to come."
All-in-all, the Knights were able to raise over $3,000, which was able to feed 12,692 people.
The Knights not only brought home a sense of merit but also an award. UCF Athletics raised the most money and sent the most people to pack meals out of all other groups.
