Orlando, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - For the second week in-a-row, the UCF Knights (3-2, 1-0) are coming off a dominate victory and look to keep the momentum rolling when they host the Tulane Green Wave (3-2, 0-1) this Friday night at Bright House Networks Stadium. The Knights have scored 100 points in the last two weeks and have played solid on offense, defense, and special teams. Head coach Scott Frost says to continue that success, the Knights need to continue to stick to their routine.
"We're not going to change what we do ever," said Frost during Monday's weekly press conference. "We're going to stick with what we know. We're going to stick with our process. Our process is looking forward to nothing except this game and focusing on today and this game."
While the Knights focus on the day at hand, fifth year defensive back T.J. Mutcherson says it was the time over the summer that helped the entire team bond and has helped lead them to the success they've had so far this season.
"I think together this summer we came together as a unit and got closer as a brotherhood," said Mutcherson. "We were in meeting rooms together. We were out in the indoor [facility] practicing together, running routes together, doing things like that. I think over the summer we got close as a unit and that's making us play better."
