ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After turning in a solid performance against UConn this past weekend, the Knights (4-3, 2-1 The American) look to notch another one in the win column on Saturday at the Houston Cougars (6-2, 3-2 The American). The fourth American Athletic Conference game for the Knights is set for a noon ET kick on ESPU.

Head coach Scott Frost cited his team's hard work and leadership for the progress that has been made each and every week this season.

"This team is a lot of fun to coach, because they do everything we ask them to do [as coaches]. They play their tails off and their playing for each other," Frost said. "I saw a lot of player leadership on Saturday. You have a good team when someone steps outside of his comfort zone and holds the guy next to him to the expected standard. I'm starting to see that on both sides of the ball."

For redshirt junior Tony Guerad the team has come a long way from last season and everyone is ready to step up this weekend against Houston.

"This year, we have a chip on our shoulder," Tony Guerad said. "We're playing fast and physical. It's just a different environment; it's been fun. Everybody is playing well and we just have to keep on playing hard. Everybody is going to have to step it up."

After playing consective games on the road, UCF starts a three-game homestretch at Bright House Networks Stadium Nov. 5, when the Knights host Tulane in a 5 p.m. contest.
