GAINESVILLE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF women's tennis was eliminated from the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Gainesville, Florida, on Saturday with Cortney Cesarini falling in singles action and Cesarinir and Monica Matias dropping their doubles match.

Cesarini started the day off in singles action against Florida State's Nandini Das. The UCF senior struggled to get this going dropping the first set 6-2 then was shutout in the second 6-0.

In doubles play, Cesarini and Matias had a battle with Hourigan and McAdoo from Georgia Tech, but ultimately, the Yellow Jacket duo pulled away with an 8-5 victory.

The Knights will take next weekend off before traveling to the Florida State Invitational Nov. 4-6.
