GAINESVILLE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Senior Courtney Cesarini led UCF women's tennis on the second day of the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Gainesville, Florida, winning her singles matches and teaming up with Monica Matias in a doubles victory.

Cesarini started the day off defeating Arianne de Winter from Georgia Southern 6-1, 6-3. She moves on to Saturday to face Florida State's Nandini Das.

The UCF senior then returned in doubles action with Monica Matias to grab a win over Miami's Ana Madcur and Estela Perez-Somarriba, 8-3. Cesarini and Matias then fell to Paige Hourigan and Rasheeda McAdoo from Georgia Tech in the next round, 8-5.

Natalia Serrano and Emilia Granstrom dropped their opening match 8-4 to Georgia State's Kristin Rehse and Damira Muminovic.
