GAINESVILLE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF women's tennis had a rough start to the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Gainesville, Florida, Thursday morning dropping both single matches the Knights were in.

Claudia May and Emilia Granstrom each dropped their opening matches at the tournament in the qualifying round. May fell 6-2, 6-2 to Florida International's Nerma Caluk, while Granstrom lost to Julianna Curtis from Florida Gulf Coast 6-4, 6-2.

Courtney Cesarini, Monica Matias and Natalia Serrano all begin their tournament runs tomorrow afternoon in the singles main draw.
