Orlando, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The Johnny Dawkins era for UCF basketball will hit the court in less than one month for the team's season opener against Nicholls State, but fans can already get a behind-the-scenes look into the program before and during the season.
UCFKnights.com has released the first episode of "Legacy", which will allow fans to learn more about Coach Dawkins, get a glimpse at the workouts the team is doing to prepare for the upcoming season as well as following the Knights into non-conference play and beyond.
The title "Legacy" comes from Coach Dawkins' philosophy to always leave something in a better place than when you found it. That philosophy is something the former Naismith Award winner teaches to his players on a daily basis and will be the main focus of this web series.
Excerpt from Episode 1:
Coach Dawkins: "I'm big about leaving your legacy wherever you are. I always tell our student-athletes you want to leave a place better than you found it. That's always the goal and you want to be remembered."

2016-17 UCF Men's Basketball Season Tickets: Season tickets start at just $99 and include women's basketball season tickets.
