ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After a heartbreaking loss to Temple, the Knights (3-3, 1-1 The American) look to get back on track on Saturday when they take on UConn (3-4, 1-3 The American) in East Hartford, Conn. The American Athletic Conference matchup is set for a noon kick on ESPNEWS. Head coach Scott Frost cited the team's character as a way to get back to winning form this weekend.

"Teams get tested all the time," Frost said during Monday's weekly press conference. "Character doesn't show up when things are going right, but in times like this. I like my team's character, and I have no doubt in how they will respond. There's no quit in these guys."

The Knights head back on the road this week looking to shake off the loss and move forward in conference play. For freshman McKenzie Milton, the team is not dwelling on the loss. Instead UCF is preparing for this week against UConn.

"After a win or loss you take the weekend and soak it in, but then come back Monday ready to work, for us it's just getting ready for UConn now," Milton said.
