STORRS, Conn. (UCFKnights.com) - It was a tough loss for the Knights Thursday, as the team fell 3-0 to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) co-leader No. 21 UConn.

10 different players took shots for the Knights and nine times those shots were on frame. Despite several good scoring chances, the Black and Gold were unable to find the back of the net as the Huskies goalkeeper was on top of her game. Two of the Huskies goals came after capitalizing on UCF defense mistakes.

UCF drops to .500 on the year and is now tied for sixth place in the AAC with Cincinnati and Houston.
