ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF cross country team returns to action on Saturday at the UNF Cross Country Invitational.
The 3k race will take place at the UNF Golf Complex in Jacksonville. The women's race is scheduled to start at 7:50 a.m.
UCF will join host UNF, FGCU, Stetson, Jacksonville, Bethune Cookman and LIU Brooklyn on the course.
The Knights opened the 2016 campaign last weekend. UCF captured four of the top five places to win the Big Wave Invitational. Redshirt senior Anne-Marie Blaney was the top finisher, crossing the line in 17:50.8 for second place. Four Knights made their UCF debuts in Hawaii.
The Black and Gold are in the Sunshine State for the next four races, including Saturday's invitational.
