VALENTINE, Neb. (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF men's golf team is tied for fourth after one round of play at the Jackrabbit Invitational at The Prairie Club - Dunes Course. 

Tournament host South Dakota State is in first place after one round at 11-under. Missouri and Clemson are tied for second at -5, while UCF and Tennessee are -1 and tied for fourth in the 12-team event.

Ryan Stovash was the top performer for UCF In the first round. The senior carded a 3-under 69 and is tied for sixth. Stovash is six strokes off the pace set by Clemson's Doc Redman. 

Freshman Bobby Bai was right behind Stovash, tied for 10th at 1-under. Sophomore Donnie Trosper also had a solid first round, firing an even-par 72. Andrew Arft is tied for 18th but is playing as an individual, so his 1-over tally of 73 did not count in the team score for the Knights.

Kyler Tate was 3-over and is tied for 38th after one round, wrapping up the team scoring for UCF. Joshua August also competed for the Knights, turning in an 81 (+9). 

Second-round play was suspended on Monday. The second round will be completed early Tuesday morning, prior to the third and final round.
