Vs. N. Florida (09-21) - Images by UCF KnightsORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF freshman forward Richard Amon cut the UCF deficit to 2-1 in the 60th minute on Wednesday evening. The Knights pressured North Florida during the rest of match, but were unable to find the equalizer at the UCF Soccer Complex.

"Our players came out and played a little too soft in getting ready for South Florida," head coach Bryan Cunningham said. "Unfortunately, we went down two goals. Then, we were up against it and had to change tactics that have worked effectively for us.

"Once, this group learns to start fast, finish our chances and get on the right side of things to start with, then we will be okay."

A 13-10 advantage in shots were held by the Knights with sophomore Gorka Aperribay and Amon tallying four each.
