Orlando, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Saturday will be the fifth time the Knights will face off against the FIU Panthers with the series tied at two games apiece. Last season, the Knights lost a heartbreaker to the Panthers when a last second field goal was blocked. While the Knights can't change that result, they're preparing for the opposite.

"Right now this game is everything," said head coach Scott Frost during Monday's press conference. "All that matters is the day we're in and the practice we're at and the game in front of us. This game is huge for us. If we can go into conference play 2-2 coming off a win I like where we're going."

Frost and the players were grateful for the large fan turnout against Maryland, which created a fun and exciting environment for the team. The Knights are looking forward seeing a lot of black and gold in the stands this weekend, with a large number of UCF alumni in the Miami-Dade area.

"It's always great having your own fans travel there with you," said redshirt sophomore receiver Tre'Quan Smith. "It's just a great feeling having the fan base there willing to support you."
