Better Than Ezra To Play On Homecoming

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF's Homecoming just got better … Better Than Ezra!

UCF Athletics announced the band will play at the UCF Tailgate Concert Series presented by FM 96.9 The Game and Metro PCS on Oct. 15 prior to the Homecoming game against Temple.
 
Better Than Ezra will be scheduled to take the stage two hours prior to kickoff, with exact times to be released in early October. Many other activities will be located around IOA Plaza as part of the Tailgate Concert Series, including rides, games, inflatables, food trucks and plenty of other family-friendly activities.

Better Then Ezra is an alternative rock trio based in New Orleans. The band formed in 1988 in Baton Rouge. The current band consists of Kevin Griffin on vocals and guitar, Tom Drummond on bass and Michael Jerome on drums. Better Than Ezra's most recent studio album – All Together Now – was their eighth. They might be best known for their 1993 platinum album Deluxe and the 1995 single Good, which hit No. 1 on the Hot Modern Rock charts.

In addition to Better Than Ezra, UCF Athletics has also announced that MG Music (Maxima Gozadera) and Bad Mannerz will perform on Oct. 7 prior to the Tulane game.
