ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – It was another wild finish Sunday, as the Knights rallied from two down to tie the game in the 74th minute. Unfortunately for UCF, a late shot by Florida found its way into the net giving the Gators the win.
With less than three minutes to play, the Knights were unable to clear the box and a Florida player managed a slow rolling shot that appeared to be wide. However, the ball managed to carom off the inside edge of the post and trickle in, putting the Gators ahead for good.
The Knights fall to 5-4 on the season but have shown their mettle, playing another top-10 opponent tough to end.
