ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – It was a very festive atmosphere at the annual UCF Football Countdown to Kickoff Luncheon presented by Bright House Networks Friday afternoon.
Held at CFE Arena, the Luncheon was the first opportunity for fans to meet the 2016 Knights. At the end of the event, head coach Scott Frost took a few questions from the audience before his team had to head back to camp.

News & Notes
-Practice No. 17 was held in the morning on the outdoor fields. UCF was in full pads before shedding the shoulder pads for the second half of the session.
-The Knights will be back at practice Saturday morning.
Looking Ahead
-Learn more about UCF FanFest this Saturday from 6-8 p.m.
-The fall semester is right around the corner as it begins on Monday.
-UCF will practice next week as well before eventually entering its game week schedule. The season opener is Sept. 3.
