ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The hitting picked up for the Knights during the second day of shoulder pads inside Nicholson Fieldhouse Monday. It was UCF's fourth practice overall of 2016 preseason camp.
Head Coach Scott Frost was very pleased with the way Monday's session went for the Knights.
"Today was far and away the best practice I've been a part of at UCF," said Frost. "I'm really happy with our guys. The one thing I told them is I want them to start developing confidence and know they are doing well, but because we've made progress, that doesn't mean slow down."
News & Notes
-The Knights are scheduled to be in full pads on Tuesday, and then not hold an official practice on Wednesday.
-Be on the lookout for the next video edition of "Rise and Conquer" which should be released this week.

-Next week will be quite busy for the Black and Gold. It will hold its annual media day Aug. 17, the Countdown Kickoff Luncheon presented by Bright House Networks Aug. 19 and FanFest Aug. 20.
