Faculty / Staff Information

UCF will host three weeknight football games this fall. They are Thursday, Sept. 1; Friday, Sept. 9; and Thursday, Oct. 13.

On those days, classes on the main campus, in the Central Florida Research Park, at UCF Downtown, at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and on UCF Connect campuses will conclude at 2 p.m. Offices at those locations also will close for normal operations at 2 p.m.

Faculty who teach classes that start before 2 p.m. but end after that time will have the option to hold the portion of those classes that comes before 2 p.m.

Some staff members may be required to work beyond the time when the university closes. In those cases, employees can speak with their supervisors about how their areas will handle operations after 2 p.m.

Game day activities will begin at 3:30 p.m. for the weeknight games. The 2 p.m. closure will allow for a smooth transition from classes and regular university operations.

UCF will reopen for normal business operations, including regular class and activity schedules, at 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2; Saturday, Sept. 10; and Friday, Oct. 14.

Faculty and staff members will be able to stay in many campus parking lots and garages after classes have concluded. Those areas include parking garages A, B and I as well as parking lots B5, B6, B9 and H4.

At 3 p.m., vehicles parked in garages C, D, F and H and in parking lots B4, C1-C3, D1-D2, E1-E8 and the baseball lot will be subject to towing. Vehicles with an Athletics Gold Zone parking pass designated for their lot or garage may remain there. The rear portion of Lot B7 will be reserved for recreational vehicles parking beginning at 9 a.m.

UCF's other four home games are on Saturdays, and Saturday classes will be held as scheduled on all of UCF's campuses on game days.
