UCF Tailgate Concert Series

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Your fellow UCF fans will want to "Follow You Down" to IOA Plaza before every game this year for one of the most unique tailgating experiences in the country. The Knights announced on Thursday the debut of the UCF Tailgate Concert Series presented by FM 96.9 The Game and iHeartRadio on Sept. 3.
 
Gin Blossoms will headline the first show of the year prior to UCF's season-opener vs. South Carolina State at 7 p.m. They are currently scheduled to go on stage at 5 p.m. Many other activities will be located on IOA Plaza prior to home football games this fall. Additional details will be announced over the next several weeks.
 
Two weekends later when UCF hosts Maryland Sept. 17, Cowboy Mouth will take the stage for yet another must-see show on campus.

Tickets
-Admission to the Concert Series is free for all fans.
 
VIP Passes
-Similar to the UCFastival in April, passes will be available for purchase for an exclusive VIP area.
-Fans will be greeted to an all-inclusive food and beverage package, and enjoy the best location to view the concerts.
-A season pass for the VIP section is only $300 for adults and $100 for youths.
-Single-day VIP passes cost just $55 for adults and $20 for youths.

"The UCFastival at the Spring Game was so well-received that we are bringing the experience back for every regular-season home game," said UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Danny White. "Our goal is to create the most unique, entertaining gameday experience in college football. We are confident our fans will enjoy this incredible Concert Series, along with all the other activities on campus on gamedays. We can't wait to have the Gin Blossoms and Cowboy Mouth kick off the festivities.
 
More acts will be released at a later date. IOA Plaza is located directly west of Bright House Networks Stadium.
 
Combining a new style of football, the UCF Tailgate Concert Series presented by FM 96.9 The Game and iHeartRadio, new video boards in Bright House Networks Stadium, complimentary 4 Rivers Smokehouse for Cabana season-ticket holders and new uniforms will create plenty of excitement for Knights fans during the 2016 UCF football campaign.
 
About the Gin Blossoms
From Tempe, Ariz., the Gin Blossoms burst on to the scene with the album "New Miserable Experience" in 1992 which featured Billboard Hot 100 hits "Hey Jealousy" and "Found Out About You." The group then cracked the top 10 with the singles "Til I Heart it from You" and "Follow You Down." The Gin Blossoms released their most recent album in 2010 and continue to be a huge draw for concert goers around the country.
