ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – All 12 football programs will be making the annual trek to Rhode Island for the annual American Athletic Conference Media Day Monday-Tuesday. UCF first-year head coach Scott Frost along with senior quarterback Justin Holman and junior defensive lineman Jamiyus Pittman will represent the Black and Gold in Newport.

On Monday, the Knights will arrive in Newport and almost immediately conduct photo shoots with TV networks such as ESPN and CBS Sports Network. Frost also will be appearing by phone on ESPNU at 5 p.m. To cap off the evening, the league will hold its annual clambake.
 
Tuesday's activity will include group photos followed by American Athletic Conference Commissioner Mike Aresco providing his remarks. UCF will then visit with media in a breakout session before Frost enjoys a coaches' roundtable discussion at 11 a.m.
 
Frost will make one last stop on his way back to Orlando, as he will head to Hartford to visit with several members of ESPN including national talent, producers, directors and writers.
 
After heading to Rhode Island, the Knights will get back to work preparing for preseason camp. Reporting is set for Aug. 3-4 with practice No. 1 on Aug. 5.
 
The days are also counting down toward FanFest which is slated for Saturday, Aug. 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Bright House Networks Stadium.
