ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF juniors Anne-Marie Blaney and Tayla Greene will represent the Knights Thursday in Eugene, Oregon, at the 2016 NCAA Track & Field Championships.

Greene will compete in the hammer throw at 5 p.m. ET, while Blaine runs the 10,000-meter run at 10:08 p.m. ET.
The top-eight finishers in each event at the NCAA Championships are tabbed first team All-Americans, while places 9-16 earn second-team honors. The final eight spots are named honorable mentions, respectively.
HAMMER TIME
Greene qualified for the NCAA Championships after finishing sixth at the NCAA East Regional with a toss of 196-8/59.82m, which was garnered on her final throw. The junior thrower will be in the final of two flights. The top nine marks form the two flights will advance to the finals for three additional throws.
GOING THE DISTANCE
Blaney punched her ticket to Eugene, Oregon, by coasting to third-place finish in the 10,000m at the NCAA East Regional with a time of 34:19.83. The redshirt junior heads in to the NCAA Championships with the 12th-fastest time this season of 33:24.33, which she ran at the Stanford Invitational against many of the competitors she will see Thursday night.
